MXN DESIGN creates bespoke outdoor wellness spaces for private homes, hospitality settings and rural retreats. From natural swimming ponds and water gardens to outdoor saunas and architectural showers, every project is designed around the landscape, the experience and the way it will be used.
Natural swimming ponds and larger landscape-led projects are designed and built across Lancashire and neighbouring areas. Transportable outdoor saunas and PLUVIA showers can be fabricated in the Ribble Valley and delivered throughout the UK, subject to access and installation requirements.
Natural Swimming Ponds
BESPOKE NATURAL SWIMMING PONDS IN LANCASHIRE
Based in the Ribble Valley, MXN DESIGN creates bespoke natural swimming ponds and contemporary water gardens across Lancashire and neighbouring areas. Each project is designed around the landscape, the architecture of the property and the way the water will be experienced.
Clean geometric lines, carefully considered planting and integrated details allow the pond to feel both architectural and naturally connected to its surroundings. Every design is developed individually rather than adapted from a standard pool or pond system.

BESPOKE OUTDOOR SHOWERS — DELIVERED ACROSS THE UK
PLUVIA
Designed and fabricated in the Ribble Valley, PLUVIA is a bespoke architectural outdoor shower created for private gardens, spa settings, swimming ponds and hospitality projects. Its dark structural frame, integrated lighting and carefully considered detailing turn a practical feature into part of the wider landscape.
Built on a robust 80 mm square box-steel frame, PLUVIA can be transported by trailer and installed at locations across the UK, subject to site access, groundwork and unloading requirements.

BESPOKE OUTDOOR SAUNAS — DELIVERED ACROSS THE UK
Outdoor Saunas
Designed and fabricated in the Ribble Valley, MXN DESIGN creates bespoke outdoor saunas for private gardens, boutique retreats and hospitality settings. Each sauna is developed as a complete architectural structure, with its proportions, materials, lighting and interior designed around the setting and the experience.
Built on a robust steel base frame, the sauna can be transported and installed at locations across the UK, subject to site access, groundwork and unloading requirements

The Occasional Outhouse
BESPOKE LUXURY GARDEN OUTHOUSES
MXN DESIGN creates bespoke garden outhouses for private gardens, swimming ponds, outdoor entertaining spaces and hospitality settings. Conceived as small pieces of architecture rather than ordinary utility buildings, each structure combines privacy, practical function and carefully considered materials, lighting and detailing.
The design can incorporate a toilet, changing space, storage or other facilities, with the layout and exterior developed around the landscape and the wider outdoor scheme.
Who builds an outhouse these days? Apparently, we do.
