Alvora brings the warmth, privacy and indulgence of a luxury spa into your own garden.
Step inside, close the door and leave the outside world behind. Warm water, a heated interior, ambient lighting, sound and complete privacy create a personal retreat you can enjoy whenever you choose—without travelling, booking or sharing the experience with anyone else.
The original Alvora is fully built, working and available to view—or experience properly—at the MXN Design studio in the Ribble Valley.
Prices start from £25,000
Alvora is not a garden shower, hot tub or conventional sauna. It is a beautifully finished, fully enclosed luxury spa room, individually designed for private homes and gardens.
New Alvora commissions combine a steam shower with atmospheric light effects, a built-in infrared sauna, a heated relaxation bench, underfloor heating, private changing space, architectural lighting and integrated sound—all within one compact outdoor retreat.
Fully insulated and double glazed, Alvora is designed for year-round enjoyment. Each private outdoor spa is built in the Ribble Valley and delivered across the UK, subject to site access and final specification.

DESIGNED AROUND HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL
Alvora brings together water, steam and infrared warmth to create a private spa experience shaped entirely around you.
Begin beneath the generous overhead rain shower, surround yourself with warm steam and atmospheric light, then settle into the built-in infrared sauna and allow the heated relaxation bench and underfloor warmth to envelop you.
Warm timber, individually selected surfaces and beautifully considered lighting create a calm, intimate sanctuary. Integrated sound completes the experience—whether you choose quiet music, the sounds of nature or simply the stillness of having this private space entirely to yourself.
By morning, Alvora is a bright and restorative retreat. After dark, it becomes something altogether more secluded, atmospheric and indulgent.

BEAUTIFULLY SIMPLE TO OWN
Alvora arrives as a completed, transportable spa room. Its hot-water system, protected electrical distribution, heating and controls are housed within a discreet insulated service compartment—accessible for installation and maintenance but invisible from inside.
Delivery, positioning, groundwork and final connections are planned around your property. The result is a substantial architectural addition without the disruption of constructing an entire home spa room on site.

Exterior colours, timber, tiles, flooring, fittings, lighting and selected wellness features can be tailored to complement your architecture, landscape and personal taste. The original completed Alvora provides the proven foundation; your commission gives it an individual character.

DESIGN STUDY 01 — ALVORA SAGE
Alvora Sage explores a softer, garden-led expression of the private outdoor spa. Finished in muted sage green, the architectural structure settles naturally among layered planting, lavender, ornamental grasses and warm landscape lighting.
Inside, the same restrained palette continues through warm timber, pale stone, black accents and softly illuminated details. A steam shower, built-in infrared sauna, heated relaxation bench and underfloor warmth create a complete luxury home spa experience.
Calm, private and closely connected to its landscape, Alvora Sage is designed as a personal wellness retreat within the garden.

DESIGN STUDY 02 — ALVORA COASTAL
Alvora Coastal reimagines the private outdoor spa through the soft, weathered palette of the British coastline. Warm off-white timber and matching entrance columns sit among sand-coloured grasses, natural stone and gentle evening light.
Inside, pale timber is contrasted with dark porcelain, delicate gold veining and charcoal textiles. A private steam shower, built-in infrared sauna, heated bench, underfloor heating, ambient light and sound create a secluded spa experience designed for year-round use.
Relaxed, warm and quietly luxurious, Alvora Coastal is suited to a coastal home, secluded garden or exclusive private retreat.
